“ Authentic Trini Cuisine Done Right! I had the pleasure of visiting Curry Tabanca today, and it was nothing short of amazing! I ordered the bone-in chicken roti, aloo pie, ginger shandy, and, of course, the current rolls--and every bite was a delight. This place delivers real, authentic Trini food, some of the best I've ever had. The flavors are perfectly balanced, with everything seasoned to perfection. The restaurant is spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. I can already tell this is a place I'll be returning to time and time again. I'm so happy to have found this gem and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Trinidadian cuisine. Curry Tabanca will not let you down! ”
“ I first stopped by here about five years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. Not too big inside, about 5 tables, each with 4 chairs. I've never had to wait for a table but I imagine it can get busy. The doubles are my absolute favorite--I'll drive almost an hour just to enjoy them. Every Trini has their go-to spot for doubles, and this one is mine. Their roti and curries are fantastic too. The service is always on point with great energy. It's the closest thing to home-cooked meals I remember. ”
“ This was my first time at Curry Tabanca, and I was impressed. We got some doubles and an aloo pie, and I also got a beer as well. The food was so tasty!! The restaurant is quite small, and there isn't too much seating inside, so keep that in mind if you're in a bigger group. There were 4 of us and at first there were no tables, but after a few minutes, some people left and we were able to secure a table. The restaurant is in a small strip mall, with a few parking spots right in front of the restaurant. ”
“ We recently hosted a book signing for a yoga book " find your balance " by Elizabeth Debbie Aiu. Curry Tabanca was so generous They donated over 50 doubles and allo -pies to our event book launch Service was excellent We were told to pick up at 1:30 It was packaged and ready for delivery at that time food was very tasty The Authentic flavor of Indian Spices were just enough So every nationality could enjoy it It was wrapped and package so very clean and neat perfect to be displayed as it was delivered The ambience is always warm and welcoming I invited you to try them. You will be very satisfied. EDA ”
“ If you're considering authentic Trinidad Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. It is primarily take-out, but there are a few tables for a quick bite on the run. It's located on Lake Worth road and Military in a strip mall. The food is the tastiest curry dishes and trini favorites I've had outside of Trinidad. I recently tried doubles with shrimp. Out of this world! For non-Trinis unfamiliar with the Trini street food called "doubles", it's two pieces of fried dough the size of sandwich loaf bread slices filled with curried chick peas and an assortment of delicious condiments such as tamarind sauce, herbs, spicy cucumber and hot sauce to taste. You can have it as is, or add shrimp, chicken, or curried goat as an extra. A must try. ”
“ This place gets 4 stars in food alone. It seems they recently redid the place and painted it a light baby blue and put metal chairs. That's it. Nothing else. No art in the walls, or lights to give you a cozy feeling. There is a long mirror along the left wall when you enter, that was there before they painted and that's it. It feels super bare. Plus, my husband always complains about the smell, which I don't mind, but I get it. It's like mistolin (a perfumey cleaner) and isn't conducive to being in a restaurant, instead it smells like a bathroom cleaner. With that said, the place is immaculate. I asked if it was under new management, they said no. There's an ATM machine in a corner. A guy came in and the lady behind the counter said, you don't need to use the atm we take cards now. Service was fast and lady behind the counter, helpful and accommodating. This place is a great take out. The roti here is to die for. ”
